The Model 619 Video Cross Hair Generator superimposes a crosshair on to real-time video signals. The user can adjust the position of these lines by means of high precision multiple turn controls. Controls are screwdriver adjustable to make accidental readjustment impossible. With a front panel switch, the user can set the lines to White, Black, or Off.
A variety of options are available for the 619, including dual cross hairs, s-video, solid or dashed lines, two lines displayed horizontally, or two lines displayed vertically.

Units featuring loop-through input with two input connectors allow connection of both a video source and a destination to the input. For instance, a camera can be connected to one of the Model 619's input connectors and a monitor to the other. In this way, the video image can be observed directly as it comes from the camera (without cross lines or cross hair) via the loop-through input, while the image with the cross lines or cross hair is present at the Model 619's output.
